This Mommy Blogger,
"When babies are away from their normal surroundings and off their regular routine, its comforting for them to have the familiarity of their My Brest Friend."
I love my My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow
but with all the additional baggage fees these days
I didn't think that there was any way that I would be able to take
My Brest Friend
with us to Connecticut.
So you can imagine my EXCITEMENT when I found out that
My Brest Friend makes a Travel Pillow
(we were sent one free of charge for this review).
Not only would I be able to use the pillow when we reached our destination but because it is inflatable and compact enough to fit in a diaper bag I was able to use it on the airplane too.
It Worked Great!
It was so comfortable for Bresden that he ended up falling asleep on the pillow after he nursed and since I was so comfortable too I let him rest on it throughout the rest of the flight.
A couple of helpful tips if you are planning to use your
My Best Friend Travel Pillow on and airplane:
I would recommend that you inflate the pillow & put the cover on it
(then deflate it with the cover still on it) before you pack,
so that way the cover is already on it when you inflate it with limited space on the plane.
That is what I did & it worked out great!
I should also mention that if you inflate the pillow before you reach cruising altitude you will probably need to let a little air out as it will expand with the change in cabin pressure. But letting some of the air out was super easy as I just reached under the pillow, unzipped it a bit and opened up the valve to release a little bit of air (all while my baby was resting/nursing comfortably on the pillow).
Why It's A Must-Have:
•Same patented design & features as the Original My Brest Friend pillow
(in fact the covers are even interchangeable)
•Wrap around design secures to the body helping mom and baby maintain positioning and latch on
•Back rest helps you maintain good posture during feeding and prevents sore back and neck•Firm, flat cushion keeps baby from rolling
•Adjustable, silent-release strap fits Moms or Dads comfortably and unlatches without waking baby
•Arm and elbow rests eliminate shoulder stress
•Convenient pocket keeps water bottles, burp cloths, phone, and other items within reach
•Packs flat and fits in diaper bag pockets
•Ideal for airplanes and overnights
•Lightweight and easy to store
I also had the pleasure of reviewing a fabulous
Nursing Cover from My Brest Friend
(sent free of charge for this review).
The My Brest Friend Nursing Cover provides mothers the privacy that they need to comfortably breastfeed in public or on the go.
I proved that you can really breastfeed descreetly anywhere you go with this cover as I even used it to feed my baby in the middle of Time Square!!!
The easy view design lets moms easily check on their nursing babies while staying completely covered.
Why It's A Must-Have:
•Private easy view design & great coverage
( Allowing you to nurse just about anywhere.... so you won't miss out on the fun)
•Adjustable for all sizes
(the adjustable strap has a clip like you would find on denim overalls that prevents the strap from slipping so you can nurse with confidence)
•Breathable 100% cotton
•Convenient pocket
- Available in a variety of designer fabrics
(so you can nurse in style)
•Works great with My Brest Friend nursing pillow

ReplyDeleteFunny to learn such a helpful pillow originated from someone who never breastfed. I like how Andrew made a thorough list of complaints from breastfeeding moms could think of with the existing pillows as he designed the perfect product.
ReplyDeleteFound this giveaway by accidentally following a link on simplysweethome.com to giveawayscout.com where this was listed.
ReplyDeleteI would love to keep this pillow for myself (I'm currently breastfeeding my little guy) but I'd probably share it with my sister who's 8 months pregnant and plans to breastfeed.

After nursing my son, I placed my nursing pad back in place and then off to do errands. When I got to one place for my Husband, I kindly followed the man out back and the pad slips out. The man said " I believe you dropped this" (while holding it in his hand) I was so shocked and embarressed that all I could say was "NO" How to you claim something like that !!!!
