As parents we sometimes find ourselves doing just the thing

that we said we would never do or not following through with the things that we planned to do.

For example, I said that I would never put my baby in my bed with me...

but here are I am 11 months later, struggling to get my little guy to sleep in his crib.

I am proud to say that I have followed through with one of the things that I planned to do though....

I must say that some people were skeptical when I declared,

Not believing that I would actually follow through with it...and I will admit (only now) that I did doubt myself a little too. But I am proud to say that my little guy has never eaten food from a jar, not once, not even when we have been traveling....but I can't really take all of the credit for it. We are getting ready to start

feeding our little guy  solid foods.
